Hooray!

Yes that’s right Christmas, thankfully, is over…big sigh of relief…I took down our tree on Dec 26th packed it, and all the decorations back into their boxes and placed them back in the garage. I have a artificial tree, so you won’t see me discarding mine at the curb, and I put up just a few decorations…less is more I always say. As of yesterday we are just about completely through with the leftovers…I didn’t make a pumpkin pie…who needs the calories…Christmas was good this year. I got some wonderful gifts from my kids and the bf…but honestly I wasn’t up for parties, or large gatherings, and was rather happy we decided not to go to any. I was happy to sit at home with the bf, and enjoy the quiet. I had both my kids here from the 21st to the 24th, and after that we had three days of the house to ourselves…pure bliss. It was so nice this may become a tradition…We did spend time on Christmas with family, and then over to a lonely pals house, but we were home early to enjoy our time alone…I had asked Santa for a job this year…didn’t get it…hoping for better luck in the new year…I’ll keep you posted.
