Wow…or in other words where did Summer go?

I mean seriously what happened to summer? The bf and I were just discussing the other day how our July was booked…and last night we figured out were booked through the first weekend in October. Absolutely insane! I mean sure we have got some great things planned…weekend at my folks, weekend at the beach, my birthday (very important) are camping trip to the desert, and tons of yard work that needs to be done, home projects that need to be finished…all before the weather goes south on us, not that it was that great of a year. Our Spring was non existentfor the most part. Normally I would have had tons of homegrown tomatoes and peppers by now from my garden…this year not so much. Summer hasn’t been too hot, we haven’t had one single day over the mid 90’s, and I am kinda good with that, but somehow all the lazy days of summer hanging out with friends, going to BBQ’s has all escaped us. We both have been working a lot this year. My temp job for the most part this summer has been full time, and I am grateful. The bf found bike stuff to keep him busy three nights out of seven, and race season is just around the corner.

Maybe next year we will make time to make time for summer
